HM-62
is a hot-melt adhesive based on heat-stable resins
and EVA copolymer. It has a short open and setting
time values, good flexibility and excellent
adhesion and wetting characteristics on difficult
substrates like waxed paper.
Typical
use
Main
application is erecting of trays made of waxed
cardboard for the packaging of fruits.
Its
fast setting allows application at max speed of
30-35 trays per minute.
It
is also used for carton and case sealing.

FDA
Status
HM
62 complies with FDA indirect food contact
regulation 175.105 regarding adhesives.
Storage
If
the adhesive is stored in its original sacks in
a cool and dry place, a minimum stability of 12
months may be expected.
In
order to avoid caking, direct contact with
sunlight must be avoided.
Do
not stack pallets of adhesive.
Safety
Even
if correct application temperatures are
observed, hot-melts give out fumes. Proper
ventilation of working place is advised.
