Product
description
HM-40F is a hot-melt adhesive based on heat-stable
resins and EVA copolymer. It has a long open
time value and good adhesion on materials like
wood, PVC and paper.
Typical
use
Edge-banding with various materials, wrapping of MDF
or chipboard profiles with materials like
decorative paper, PVC foil etc.

Heat
resistance
HM
40F generally shows a medium heat resistance,
but this is governed a lot by the bonded
material, form and size of the profile and
execution of the bonding so no specific
information can be given.
Storage
If the adhesive is stored in its
original sacks in a cool and dry place, a
minimum stability of 12 months may be expected.
Some caking of HM 40F pellets may
occur, because it is too sticky.
Do not stack pallets of adhesive.
Avoid direct contact with sunlight.
Safety
Even
if correct application temperatures are
observed, hot-melts give out fumes. Proper
ventilation of working place is advised.
